Watercolor is a craft that often goes unnoticed. However, its painterly, fluid lines have an elegance that takes years to excel in. The Florida Watercolor Society’s 54th annual exhibition, aptly titled To Catch a Dream, brings together a collection of photorealistic and abstract works that highlight photorealistic scenes and abstract and expressive work.

The Florida Watercolor Society held its first exhibition in 1931, and was organized in 1972, with 26 artists as charter members. Today, membership has now grown to more than 1,000 individuals.
